Business
Tricom Technologies is a leading supplier of low-cost, fully-freeplay simulations to the aviation and training industry. Tricom has fully developed simulations available off the shelf for most commercial aircraft types, including the complete modern Airbus families and most modern Boeing aircraft.
Simulations produced by Tricom Technologies are generally PC-based and are highly configurable. They are offered ranging from the desktop simulation-based Computer Based Training (CBT) variety with all 2D simulated components, through to the complete FAA level 4/5 Flight Training Device (FTD) and Maintenance Training Device (MTD) variety with all 3D tactile components. We will configure our products to any variety the customer desires between the desktop CBT and higher level FTD extremes, including the virtual FTD and systems-focused Part Task Trainers (PTT). For additional information, please see Our Products.
Focus
Tricom Technologies is 100% focused on satisfying our customer's needs and objectives through effective and affordable simulation solutions. Our simulation products bridge the simulation gap between traditional low-end CBT and more expensive fixed-base and Full Flight Simulators (FFS) used by airline training organizations and flight schools around the world.
Through extensive and continued consultation with a variety of airline customers and subject matter experts, Tricom identified the need for truly freeplay simulations offered at an affordable price fitting between the traditional CBT and more expensive FFS. Tricom's existing customers have proven that armed with Tricom simulations they can offload considerable training from their expensive FFSs, generating considerable cost saving and training improvement benefits for their operation. Benefits derived by,
- improving usage efficiency of simulator assets
- maximizing training effectiveness and training transfer through focused simulation
- minimizing training delivery cost
