Tricom designed and manufactured tactile hardware are the optimum solution for affordable and realistic 3D tactile simulation upgrades. Tricom hardware features a standard PC-based interface and drivers compatible with standard 32-bit PC-based operating systems, including Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/Win7 and Windows 95/98/ME. All electronics and interface boards used in our tactle devices are manufactured by Tricom Technologies.  In fact, we control all aspects of the design, manufacturing and assembly of our complete tactile devices within our facility.  For interfacing to standard PC host computers, all Tricom-built tactile devices use either standard RS-232 serial or the newer USB interfacing technology.  The latest of devices use the standard USB interfacing technology which makes for a powerful, yet simple input/output architecture.  An architecture fully designed and operationally proven by Tricom technical experts. All Tricom produced tactile hardware is designed upfront for maximum reliability and supportability in normal operational use in a training environment.
